Do you take reservations?

We accommodate parties of 12 or more - groups smaller than 12 are welcome to come and grab what is available upon arrival. Our patio is available on a first-come, first-served basis. For specific inquiries regarding reservations, parties, or any type of special event (whether happy hour, birthdays, corporate events, etc.), please feel free to reach out to us via our contact page! Our indoor area primarily offers bar service, where guests can order drinks and food up at the bar with the bartenders. Our outdoor patio offers table service weather permitting, first-come, first-served.

are you kid-friendly?

Yes! We welcome children on weekdays and weekend days. Anyone under 21 must be accompanied by a legal guardian at all times while inside and when entering the bar, and may not stay beyond 10 PM.

do you have on-site parking?

We do not have on-site parking, however there is metered street parking as well as a public parking garage directly across the street. 

do you allow dogs?

Dogs are permitted on our outdoor patio! They must remain on leashes at all times and may not be on furniture or in laps.

is there a dress code?

We do not permit sleeveless shirts/tank tops, or sweatpants (cotton or wool). If you're unsure about any specific attire, feel free to contact us at info@thehomesteadnj.com for clarification. All hats and headwear permitted. We do not permit sunglasses on inside after 7pm.
